Plans continue for the new school in Danli, Honduras. In my last post I reported on a meeting with representatives from several congregations in the southwest Missouri area around Neosho. While we have high hopes that our efforts will result in additional funds being raised, what follows is a report of funds we currently have raised or committed.
Our goals were:
One-time start-up expenses - $4,000.00; monthly operational expenses - $1,500.00
Total committed so far:
One-time start-up expenses - $4,500.00; monthly operational expenses - $500.00
As you can see, we have done well with the one-time start-up expenses, but still have some ground to make up with our monthly operational expenses.
